Bring the Outdoors In

  • Clip fresh branches or wildflowers and display them in a vase

  • Start a few herb cuttings in water for a windowsill garden

  • Open the windows wide and let the breeze freshen your space

  • Create a mini indoor greenhouse with repurposed jars and seed starters

  • Collect fallen moss or pinecones for a natural centerpiece

Refresh Your Home

  • Swap out heavy blankets for light, airy throws in pastel tones

  • Rearrange your bookshelves with spring-colored covers facing out

  • Change your welcome mat to something bright and cheerful

  • Hang a DIY wreath using twigs, dried flowers, or ribbon

  • Switch up your hand soaps and candles with floral or citrus scents

Spring Self-Care & Slow Living

  • Take your morning coffee outside and enjoy the fresh air and birdsong

  • Refresh your beauty routine with a soft pink, peach, or lavender lipstick

  • Make a homemade sugar scrub with lemon and honey

  • Try a new floral or fresh scent for your perfume

  • Go on a walk and listen to a spring-inspired playlist

Seasonal Sips & Bites

  • Bake something light and citrusy—lemon loaf, key lime bars, or strawberry shortcake

  • Infuse water with fresh cucumber, mint, or berries

  • Make sun tea in a jar on your window sill

  • Try your hand at quick-pickled onions or radishes for salads

  • Pack a simple picnic, even if it’s just in your backyard

Get Outside & Explore

  • Visit a farmer’s market and pick up seasonal produce

  • Grab a basket and collect spring flowers, leaves, and seed pods

  • Ride your bike through your neighborhood or a scenic path

  • Go birdwatching—download an app to identify calls!

  • Find a quiet spot to read a book in the fresh air

Spring Scents

Have you heard of the idea of having a different scent in your home for each season? Smells are closely associated with memory, so I try to have a different scent for each season. For me, Fall is pumpkin apple, Winter is Cinnamon or Pine, Spring is something floral, and Summer is always a beachy scent. I've never found one for summer that I love, until I tried North Shore, by Antique Candle Co.

My all-time favorite candle company has given me a discount code for you all! MELISSA gets you 20% off candles. My favorite spring/ summer scents are Momma's Kitchen, Sweet Lemon, North Shores, and Georgia Peach!

Spring Decor Edit

Below, you'll find a collection of curated mood boards designed to inspire your spring decor, from charming cottagecore touches to minimalist seasonal accents. Are you a color or neutral lover? Either way, I got you covered!
