Marketplace Makeover: Turn Your Clutter into Your Decorating Budget

"I have a house full of old furniture & no money to furnish it, but still want to love my home! What can I do?”

I have been asked this question more times than I can even count!

When my husband and I bought our first house, we had no budget left after a couple of house emergencies to actually decorate it.

But what we had was s a house full of old furniture, hand-me-down decor from friends, and roommates. Let me be clear: none of it was high quality. Most of it was very old, scratched, dinged, or damaged. But I still wanted to see if I could sell off the old pieces to earn some money, and I turned to Facebook Marketplace (FBMP). This is how I inadvertently created the $0 Marketplace Makeover.

This guide is for you if:

  • You want to create a home you love, but you're not sure where to start

  • You have an attic (garage, basement, etc) full of furniture and decor

  • You want to make a chunk of change from your old furniture

  • You've wanted to sell on Facebook Marketplace, but are intimidated by it

You'll walk away knowing:

Gain a Side Hustle?

Have you ever wanted to get started on a furniture flipping side hustle, but didn't want to put in the work to actually flip furniture?

I share how you can do this WITHOUT having to actually refinish any furniture, including what furniture sells the best.

I share:

  • Which furniture has the biggest profit margin

  • How to make your furniture look expensive

  • a simple way to make an extra $25-50 per piece of furniture

You DO NOT need to have:

  • any decorating budget

  • new or modern furniture

  • any knowledge of refinishing furniture

Plus I threw in:

  • worksheets to keep track of your listings

  • photo examples of my own FBMP listings that sold well
